President Kitty Xu

" I am Kitty, the president of NZSG. Starting with EOT (English Online Tutorial) originally and followed by the opening of new departments, NZSG has expanded to offer a range of non-profit services to a wide audience, from various perspectives. To me, volunteering is a special event that bonds individuals across different ages, occupations, ethnicities and backgrounds. It not only brings benefits to those in need but also provides opportunities to the volunteers who want to practice their specialised skills. My keyword for NZSG is ‘wellness’. I hope that the NZSG projects can improve the mental wellness of the participants: the EOT project in boosting learners’ confidence through training their ease of communication, the Music project in introducing mindfulness and awareness, the Woolworks project in spreading warmth and comfort, and so on. I hope that every participant in every NZSG project can receive help while feeling safe and relaxed. "

Hello, I am Tommy from NZSG. I have a strong passionate in programming and website designing. I have designed several websites over the years, and I am the designer of the webiste of NZSG as well. As the organisation growths, it is necessary to have online tools to help the operation of the organisation, therefore an IT specialist is needed. I am looking forward to use my specialist to help the organisation to grow faster and expend beyond its limits.

Hello!! I'm Kino and I manage the Music team at NZSG. Having played a variety of different instruments, I am passionate about making music and sharing the joy that it brings. You’ll mostly find me at the keys; I've played the piano since I was five! My main part at NZSG is orchestrating the various learning and performance opportunities any aspiring young musicians may have. I'd be more than happy to work with students of all levels, so feel free to reach out to me if you want to make the melodies in your mind spring to life…
